Project for Barry Callebaut Group

The Barry Callebaut group was looking for a manufacturer of the control cabinets. They were looking for a rapid, high-quality production and delivery of the control cabinets for the chocolate factory.

We had to fulfill a large order in a short period of time. We had to review the electrotechnical project documentation, complete and manufacture the electrical cabinets, prepare all the necessary documentation.

This new production line was started in two phases: firstly, only the batch conche have been installed.

To meet the market demands, the plant has been extended with a new production line, envisaged to produce milk and dark chocolate. The second production line consisted of a new solid material storage, product feeder, mixer, pre-refiner, two refiners and two conches (batch conche and conti-conche).

To allow receiving chocolate from two lines, the existing finishing tanks have been extended with two additional tanks. The existing tanks have also been made to receive chocolate from the new line. Furthermore, the present raw material area has been extended with two additional cocoa liquor tanks, a cocoa butter tank, a cocoa butter equivalent tank and three melters.

The products were tested by Barry Callebaut specialists and we received excellent reviews. We enjoyed the success of the project.
